My name is Sue and that's me along with my late father and my brother. I am the face behind the Siberians of Prekrasne - a little older now perhaps but it's still me.
I hail from the midwest and grew up in Iowa before heading north to Minnesota and then southwest to Arizona. I come from a family of animal lovers and spent my childhood with my beloved dog Sam and my big orange tabby, Barney and any number of stray or injured animals that I would drag home.
I happened upon the Siberian entirely by chance while searching for information on my dog, Kody. He's an American Eskimo and results came back for Siberian Huskies and then (voila) the Siberian Cat. I'd been mulling over trying to show cats and thought I'd try the Ragdoll but I was captivated by the Siberian. I attended a couple shows and found myself determined to be a positive force for the breed not only in producing quality cats, but being a good representative for the breed and for breeders. Once I knew more I became more determined than ever to dedicate myself to the breed. I am now focused on diversity, health screening, strong type, and temperament.
